A moment on the road may last only a few seconds, yet leave plenty of questions. What does the recording show? How do you submit your clip? And what happens after you upload it? There is a lot to explain about dashcams and sharing recordings. DashClip Delivery now has a dedicated blog for those questions.
This first article introduces a place for platform news, accessible explanations and practical submission guidance. You can read the articles without an account and search for a particular topic. Here is how the blog is organised and how it can help you get started.
Knowledge that fits your recording
DashClip Delivery connects people who submit clips with channel operators. You upload your recording and choose which channels you want to offer it to. The platform supports the subsequent process around offers, responses and downloads. Each channel operator decides whether to publish a clip on their channel.
The blog adds context to that process. A new feature is easier to use when its purpose is clear. Submission guidance becomes more useful when it explains a concrete situation. These are the kinds of questions that belong here, with articles you can return to whenever you need them.
Note
You choose which channels should receive your clip when you submit it. Uploading a recording does not automatically publish it on a YouTube channel.
Three categories to get started
Our initial categories give the blog a clear structure:
- News covers new features and developments at DashClip Delivery. This introductory article belongs here.
- Dashcam knowledge is the home for accessible explanations of cameras and their recordings, providing context for the footage captured on the road.
- Submission tips brings together guidance on moving from a recording to a submission and choosing suitable channels.
A category describes an article's main focus. Tags add individual topics such as “Getting started”, “Dashcams” or “Submitting clips”. An article can have several tags, letting you follow a topic across different categories.
Finding the right article
The blog overview lists the latest published articles first. Each card shows a title, a short description, the author, the date and an estimated reading time. You can get a sense of the subject and the time involved before opening an article.
Use the categories to narrow the selection. If you have a specific question in mind, try the article search. It searches titles, short descriptions and article text, so you do not need to remember an exact title. Linked tags lead to more posts on the same topic. Related articles also appear below a post when suitable content is available.
Reading, sharing and following updates
The blog supports German and English. When an article is available in both languages, the language selector takes you directly to the other version. If a translation has not been published yet, it takes you to the blog overview in your chosen language.
If an article could help someone else, copy its link or use one of the sharing options below it. There is also an English RSS feed for new articles. Add that address to your feed reader if you prefer to follow updates there. The German edition has its own feed.
